1 Preparations before the trial run
① Check whether the connecting bolts and anchor bolts of the pump are loose.
② Check whether the lubricating oil level of the bearing housing is normal and whether there is oil leakage.
③ Crank to check whether the pump is jammed.
④ Check whether the inlet and outlet pressure gauges of the pump are in good condition.
⑤ Check whether the safety shield of the pump is in good condition.
⑥ Fill the pump with liquid, remove the gas in the pump, and check whether the mechanical seal leaks.
2 Trial run
① Motor electric experiment should be conducted, checking whether the rotation direction of the motor is correct.
② Open the inlet valve, start the motor, and open the outlet valve to avoid excessive bearing temperature and damage to the mechanical seal.
③The load test should meet the following requirements: no leakage of mechanical seal; smooth operation, no noise; normal lubrication and cooling systems; stable flow and pressure without
fluctuation; current does not exceed the rated value.

3 normal operation
② The operating pressure of the pump should be stable, and the pressure fluctuation should not be greater than 0.1MPa.
③ Avoid evacuation during operation to avoid damage to the mechanical seal.
④ Ensure that the cooling water and sealing water are unblocked.
⑤ If the equipment is found to be abnormal, the pump should be stopped immediately to check the reason.
These are the measures to make sure that the long-term use of the said mechanical seal is optimized.
